1. Snake is Edjo in Egypt. Ejo in Yoruba
2. Die is Khu in ancient Egypt. Ku in Yoruba
3. Water is Omi in Egypt. Omi in Yoruba.
4. Black is Dudu in Egypt. Dudu in Yoruba.
5. Hill is Ke in Egypt. Oke in Yoruba.
6. Sell is Ta in Egypt. Ta in Yoruba.
7. Boat/canoe is Ko(t) in Egypt. Oko in Yoruba.
8. Moon is Khonsu in Egypt. Osu in Yoruba.
9. Walk is Ren in Egypt. Rin in Yoruba.
10. Evil is Hika/Ubi in Egypt. Ubi/Ika in Yoruba.
11. Mother is Tiye in Egypt. Iye/Iya in Yoruba.
12. Fire is Unas in Egypt. Ina in Yoruba.
13. Buy is Ra in Egypt. Ra in Yoruba.
And so on.
Personally, I do not believe the Yoruba Nation is from Egypt, but I suspect we were in Egypt for a long time over the course of historical timeline.
In my 15yr research, the possible scenarios are as follows;
1. Present day Yoruba Nation are a Cannanite people by origin, migrating down from today's Middle East to Egypt then down to present West Africa.
2. They were one of the Nile Valley Inhabiting Nations, later migrated to Egypt and then back to West Africa.
Similarities of Yoruba and Kemet
1. Belief in Supreme God and a pantheon of gods.
2. No Dominant Regious Rights but African Spirituality which is essentially Divinition
3. Use or Reference to Animals as Mythical figures in Spirituality and worship
4. Expertise in creating Bust of Heroes
5. Language
6. Culture; Burial of Kings (despatch of Earthly riches including live humans as support in the after life).
7. Secret Oral Tradition (most now perished)
8. Belief in Reincarnation and After life.
