Hikino is possibly the first female harpist in ancient Egypt, and her sister Etty was a reknowned singer at the Temple of Ra. Known for their duets, Hikino and Etty were celebrated professional musicians during the Fifth Dynasty (2498-2345 BC). Their legacy is immortalized in a relief sculpture on the false door of the tomb of Judge Nikora and his wife Ehehat in Saqqara.

Despite not being part of Nkaure's family, their names on the tomb walls highlight their fame and status in the Old Kingdom. The sisters, possibly twins, are depicted with identical features, hairstyles, and natural hair. Etty's singing style, placing her left hand on her ear, mirrors techniques used by singers today.
