When the King passes everybody go on their knees. Honor of the throne.
Azande culture, tradition and respect for the monarchy is slowly being revived in Western Equatoria state as residents go down on their knees to demonstrate respect for their king in Yambio.
His Majesty King Atoroba Peni Rikito Gbudue of Azande Kingdom in turn waved at his courteous subjects on the streets as drives by in Yambio town this week.
This tradition eroded since the killing of King Gbudue by the Belgian, French and the British in February 1905.
