Yesterday, an image was shared with little details about a man nicknamed the "Hungry Lion". However, we decided to conduct further research about him. It turns out that the present-day Ebira community has limited knowledge about this individual. Historical accounts reveal that he was once regarded as the strongest man in Kogi Central, which was previously a part of Kwara State.

This man's real name was Hassan Kumar, and he hailed from the Lafia area of Okene. His strength was legendary, as he could pull a vehicle with a rope tied to his teeth, carry five bags of cement on his chest, and even transport a motorcycle with a rider on his shoulder. Interestingly, he was married twice, first to an Ebira woman and then to a woman from Maiduguri.

From his union with his Ebira wife, he fathered a son who currently resides in Kuroko. The life and feats of this remarkable man continue to inspire and fascinate people, even long after his time.
