A Short Moral Story.
Two farmers lived next door to each other. One was a poultry farmer, and the other was a corn farmer.
The poultry farmer haboured hatred and discrimination against the corn farmer due to his religion and culture. He treated him unfairly compared with those living in the same neighborhood. Whenever he saw him, he would curse him, blaspheme against his religion, and use hate speech against him.
However, instead of becoming visibly upset by his rude behaviour, the corn farmer didn't seem bothered at all, instead, he would let out a small laugh and wave at him.
At some point, the poultry farmer couldn't take it anymore. He didn't seem to understand why he never succeeded in upsetting the corn farmer. He began to look for more evil ways to infuriate him.
He began collecting his poultry waste into bags, and throwing them over the fence of the corn farmer, into his yard. He was doing so to make the whole place smell horrible, and to make the corn farmer very uncomfortable and angry.
However, it surprised him how happy the corn farmer felt whenever he threw chicken waste into his yard. Regardless of how bad his yard smelled, the corn farmer never complained, instead, he would go about his normal activities as if nothing was happening.
In a short amount of time, the poultry farmer became extremely frustrated and embarrassed. He couldn't fathom why the corn farmer was never affected by all the things he had been doing to him. Maybe I need to throw more chicken waste into his yard, he thought to himself.
One day, the poultry farmer shamefully went to the corn farmer and asked,
"I have been throwing chicken waste into your yard for a long time now. Doesn't it ever bother you?".
The corn farmer smiled and said.
"The chicken waste you throw daily has been a blessing to me. Ever since I started using them as organic fertilizer for my soil, my corn plants have flourished and yields have increased. Do you have any to throw today?".
Moral Of The Story:
Sometimes, when someone is unfair to you and constantly asks for trouble, take advantage of the situation and make them feel stupid. Don't always return blow for blow, anger for anger, to hit back with all your might. To be a winner is not always about being the strongest. Sometimes, it takes silence and smartness to win.
