PART 6
'Don't be scared, gently close the door. The moment you attempt to run they may tear you apart, these are dogs 'Ariana said.
I took two steps backward gently , closed the door all of a sudden then bolted it from the inside. As soon as i closed the door I heard the beasty looking guy's footsteps running towards the backyard but he only found the dogs barking, nothing else. He ran around the house and later arrived where the dogs were still seriously barking at the back door. He tried opening the door but it was locked, he then brought out his phone, then put it on speaker.
'chairmoo, these dogs are at the backyard seriously barking. I've checked everywhere but I found nothing. ' he said.
'Have they been fed since the last time? ' His boss asked
'No sir' he replied
'Go and feed them ' his boss instructed.
'OK sir'
He then took the dogs away, still barking as they went. I immediately made the sign of the cross. We were trapped indoor, I sat beside Ariana's father there in the dark assuring him that everything was going to be OK. He kept asking me about Ariana and where and how I had met her ghost but I told him that as soon as God helped us out of there I would tell him everything.
The beasty looking guy fed the dogs, but left them uncaged so they were just roaming about in the compound.
After like 5 hours it was already getting late. I tiptoed to the living room and peeped through the window, one of the giant dogs was sitted by the gate.
'What's the way out now?' I asked myself.

'Please be calm, you will get out of this I promise ' Ariana assured.
I turned and looked at her, and I nodded. I was already feeling for her father at this point. I went back to where I sitted him down and I sat with him, we were there till dawn.
'U. G, it's time' Ariana whispered that early morning.
I was still asleep when I heard her voice. I opened my eyes, she was standing right before me but her father was still sitting down same way he was the previous night.It was already 4:05 am.
'The dogs? ' I asked
'They are caged' Ariana replied
'Sir, you didn't sleep? ' I asked,turning to Ariana's father.
'Who are you talking to? ' he asked.
'No one sir' I replied
He sighed.
'How could I when I don't even know if I'll make it out alive ' he said
'You will sir, God help us ' I assured him.
Now 4:07 am, I brought out my phone and called my best friend who is an uber guy, it rang the first time but he didn't pick but finally did the second time.
'Hello Paddy, how far? Abeg I'm stranded somewhere with one of my friends and I don't even know how to get out of here. Can you please come? I'll make it up to you I promise ' I said gently.
'You've started this your nonsense with sugar mummies this year abi? ' he queried
'Abeg there's no sugar mummy involved. It's between life and death' I said to him.
'What? OK OK, where are you? ' he asked
I told him the address, but asked him to park two buildings before the one we were, He agreed. My phone was on silence. After like 50 minutes he called back that he was already there. I moved closer to the back door and unbolted it quietly, went back and carried Ariana's father up then I supported him. We walked Down toward the gate then I sat him down by a corner and I tiptoed to the gate, it was bolted but I quietly unbolted it then slightly opened it.
I tiptoed back to Ariana's father and I supported him again to the gate. I opened The gate and thanks to God we made it out.
My friend had already parked where I told him to, he saw us from afar and ran towards us. He wanted saying something but I shushed him, he then supported in carrying Ariana's father to the car And he drove straight to the hospital.
He spent a few hours with us and then left for his own hustle.
I was there in the hospital with the man till the following morning again, then I told him I wanted to go home and freshen up, promising to come back later.
I walked to the junction to take a bike home but as soon as i arrived the junction I saw the beasty looking guy's boss I mean the owner of Reeky mall driving by and staring at me, I quickly looked away and he drove past me. I was scared to my bones.
I arrived home, freshened up, made something to eat then packaged some to take to the hospital. I arrived the hospital later in the evening again and I stayed with Ariana's father for a few hours.
'Please you can go home for the night and then return in the morning if you want ' he said
Me that was already thinking of an excuse not to sleep in the hospital that night, with joy in my heart I answered 'OK sir'
I got home past 10pm tired and exhausted and went straight into the bedroom, I didn't even know when I slept off. But I woke up to the sound of gun shots in my compound and before I knew what was happening they were already in my living room.

They shot at my bedroom door many times and in no time my bedroom door was brought down. Remember that beasty looking guy, these guys height were like times two of his, all armed as they entered. I stood before them, helpless.
' E Don set! O God please, forgive and forget my sins' I prayed silently..
